White Powder In Tubelight
The white powder is known as phosphor (phosphorescent) inside a fluorescent lamp, which is a substance that emits white, visible light whenever it absorbs light waves.No, Phosphor powder is not harmful.....But this lights also contain small amount of mercury...If the glass tube is broken, then the mercury can contaminate the environment and this is not good for human eye.
